Merry Christmas



O magnum mysterium,
et admirabile sacramentum,
ut animalia viderent Dominum natum,
jacentem in praesepio!
Beata Virgo, cujus viscera
meruerunt portare
Dominum Christum.
Alleluia.
O great mystery,
and wondrous sacrament,
that animals should see the new-born Lord,
lying in a manger!
Blessed is the Virgin whose womb
was worthy to bear
Christ the Lord.

    Hey! I'm singing this tonight at St. Paul's! If you like this piece you should listen to Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna. Five movements very much like this.

    I love love this song. Ruth and I sang this in a community choir and I sang it at HHS place. One of my very favorites. :)
